What’s on our menu and what are our top sellers?
Top Selling Pizzas:
Margherita with Burrata: The #1 favorite; a classic elevated with cold, creamy burrata.
Bartender’s Special: A spicy "staff favorite" with spicy marinara, burrata, fennel sausage, and calabrese chilies.
Hot Honey pepperoni pizza: Spicy soppressata (pepperoni), mozzarella, and red onion finished with a hot honey drizzle.
Capricciosa: Red sauce topped with prosciutto, artichokes, and wild mushrooms.
Signature Pastas & Mains:
Rigatoncini: Al dente rigatoni in a popular spicy vodka sauce with smoked pancetta.
Pappardelle Napoletana: Wide ribbons of pasta with a rich, slow-braised pork sugo.
Ziti Chicken Parmigiana: A hearty, family-friendly classic.
Fan-Favorite Starters:
Burrata Bruschetta: Sourdough toast with burrata, hazelnuts, and honey.
Crab Arancini: Crispy dungeness crab rice balls with calabrese aioli.
Cacio e Pepe Fries: Tossed in pecorino and cracked black pepper.
Do we have vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergy-friendly options?
Vegetarian Options: Vegetarians have the easiest time here, as a large portion of the "Antipasti" and Pizza sections are naturally meat-free:
Pizzas: The Margherita (with or without Burrata) and the Funghi Misti (wild mushrooms) are top sellers.
Pasta: Look for the Lasagna di Verdura (seasonal veggie ragu) or the Penne Primavera.
Starters: The Burrata Bruschetta, Eggplant Caponatina, and Cacio e Pepe Fries are all vegetarian staples.
Vegan Options: Unlike many Italian spots, we have specific vegan substitutes available for a small upcharge (usually $2–$3):
Custom Pizzas: You can substitute vegan cheese and vegan sausage on any pizza.
Naturally Vegan: The Spicy Marinara pizza is cheese-less by default (features olives and calabrese peppers).
Salads: Most salads, like the Roasted Beet or Arugula, can be made vegan by removing the cheese.
Gluten-Free (GF) Options:
Gluten-Free Crust: You can substitute a GF pizza crust on any of our Roman-style pizzas for approximately $3–$4.
Small Plates: The Skewers (Spiedini)—like the grilled salmon or chicken—are naturally gluten-free options.
Dessert: We often carry a Flourless Molten Chocolate Cake, which is a popular GF-friendly treat.
Note on Pasta: Most locations note that our pasta (pappardelle, rigatoncini) cannot be made gluten-free, so stick to pizzas or skewers if you are avoiding wheat.
What’s our price range?
We are considered a mid-range ($$) dining destination. It is designed to be an "all-day gathering place," so the pricing accommodates everything from a quick lunch to a full social dinner.
Estimated Total per Person:
Casual Lunch: $20 – $30 (One pizza or pasta + soda).
Full Dinner: $45 – $65 (Shared appetizer + pizza/pasta + 1-2 cocktails).
Group Dining: We offer a Prefix Menu for groups at $48 per person, served family-style.
Do we offer catering, private events, or large parties?
We do offer catering
Is parking available?
Parking directly at the restaurant is impossible since it's on a pedestrian walkway, but there are several large garages within a 2-minute walk:
Fifth & Mission / Yerba Buena Garage: (833 Mission St) This is the largest and most reliable garage in the area.
Hearst Parking Center: (45 Third St) Convenient if you are coming from the east side of the city.
Jessie Square Garage: (223 Stevenson St) Extremely close, literally steps from the back entrance of the lane.
What makes our restaurant unique?
The Patio: This location has a massive, heated outdoor patio right on the lane, which is perfect for people-watching without the noise of car traffic.
The "Roman-Style" Crust: Our pizza is ultra-thin and crispy with a cracker-like "snap." We add olive oil to the dough for a golden-brown crunch and a distinct savory flavor.
The Communal "European" Vibe: We utilize long, wooden communal tables designed to force "camaraderie between neighbors." We are an "all-day" spot where the vibe stays high-energy.
Curated Agave & Spirit Program: We have a "One Vodka" rule and focus on complex Gins, Whiskeys, and Amari. We lean heavily into Italian spirits like Grappa, Fernet, and Aperol.
Aperitivo Culture: Our Happy Hour typically runs Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. You can find $8 Margaritas/Spritzes and $10 mini pizzettas.
Great for Families: While the vibe is "young professional" during the week, it transforms into a family haven on weekends. We offer a dedicated Kids Menu, fast service, and interactive, shareable food.
